We're thrilled to announce the new Executive Board members joining the team in 2025!
These exceptional leaders together bring a wealth of experience, innovative ideas, and commitment to our mission of expanding value-based care. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives will enhance ECHORM’s strategic initiatives and strengthen our community. Welcome, Nadja, Pallavi and Jayanti!
Nadja Kartschmit, Executive Secretary
My name is Nadja Kartschmit and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Medical University of Vienna. I began my career as a nurse before pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences with a focus on research methods. Building on this foundation, I completed a doctoral thesis in epidemiology, examining how environmental factors influence health behavior and health outcomes. Driven by a passion for improving the quality of healthcare, my interests include integrating patient-reported outcome and experience measures into clinical settings, as well as leveraging these data for research.
Professionally, I have contributed to the coordination of multiple research projects and worked extensively with large-scale observational data. Currently, I am involved in developing policy recommendations to promote data sharing and usage across Europe, aiming to address organizational, ethical, behavioral, and legal challenges. In addition to this, I teach statistics and epidemiology to students of Medicine and related fields. ECHORM is a great network for promoting the paradigm shift toward value-based healthcare in Europe and beyond and I am happy to be involved in this initiative.

My passion for leveraging technology to solve complex healthcare challenges is evident in my career path. In addition to my professional achievements, I am an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I actively mentor young professionals and participate in industry forums to share my knowledge and experiences.
I believe my ability to navigate the rapidly evolving health tech landscape and my commitment to driving positive change align perfectly with ECHORM’s mission.
